• Born and raised in Chennai, India.
• 2010: Bachelor Degree in Home Science.
• 2014: Certification in Primary/ Elementary Montessori
• 2014 – 2015: Worked as a Nursery teacher at Kids Central, Kotturpuram, before being elevated to AMM Matric. Higher Sec School as a Preschool/ Primary teacher.
• Trained by Supreme International Education, Singapore.

“I find teaching very rewarding as well as challenging and this is why I wanted to pursue my career in teaching. I have always enjoyed working with children and my previous experiences taught me to have a great deal of patience and tact when working with young children.

Young children learn so much relatively quickly and this is a lovely time period to witness how far they come. My philosophy is that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. As an educator, I’m committed to providing students with a dynamic and interesting learning environment in which they can grow and develop.  

At GIS we devise activities and study plans, according to the international syllabus requirements, that expand on the knowledge and encourage students to explore new and interesting possibilities. We as educators, encourage students to construct their own learning in an environment that stimulates and helps students to realise their full potential.

The school strives to instill a love of learning and to make learning exciting and interesting. As a community we take pride in nurturing and guiding the students to develop a love for learning that enhances their ability to become contributing citizens in their community.”
