Ms. Rose 

• Born in Denmark, raised in Denmark, Austria and Taiwan/China. 
• 1988-1991: Bachelor of Arts, Willem DeKooning, Rotterdam.
• 2004-2005: Master of Arts, Utrecht.
• 2010-2012: Bachelor of Fine Art in Education, Willem DeKooning, Rotterdam.
• Teaching and film producing experience since 2005 in different educational environments in the Netherlands.

“Thinking back to my youth, the teachers that have shaped my life were creative thinkers, good story tellers and inspirational personalities. I aspire to be a teacher that will be remembered as a positive influence in the life of the pupils. I believe that every child is unique and that every child has many talents. Not all talents are stimulated in the traditional education systems which is a shame. GIS has the philosophy that stimulates all forms of learning, which creates an inspirational educational environment. I am proud to be part of such a forward striving institution.

I think that learning should and can be fun. Solving problems and finding solutions should be a creative process using many different techniques. My experience is that stimulating talents in a positive, multi disciplinary and multi cultural environment brings the best out of children. My international background, born in Denmark, four years stay as a child in Austria (Tirol) and four years as a high school student – American High School – in Taiwan, stimulated my interest in different cultures. It added real value to my life. I am a strong supporter of multicultural cooperation in any field.”
